    Old Cures.
    There are many men who have the cure of the sprain.One of these men lives in Rakeeragh.An old cure for the sprain was to put chicken weed on the sprain as a bandage.

    The nettle is supposed to be a great cure for the measles.The nettle is boiled in whiskey.Then the nettles are strained from the whiskey and it is drunk.It is said if it does not cure you,you will get better by any means.
