    27.V1 -'38 the garden to keep himself warm when who rushed into the garden but Mr.Scott himself with a loaded gun in an excited manner."Where are they Irwin ,where are they ' .begor sir, I didn't see anybody said the gardener Didn't you come to the hall- door and knock loudly'said Mr Scott.'Faith I did no such thing ,Sir 'said Irwin.As they were walking across the lawn talking about what happened they heard the blast of a horn ,and the cry of hounds and the shout of huntsmen coming down through the Deerpark Hill,Ballykilty ,across Poulagile and right up to where they were standing in the lawn .As one of the huntsmen was passing close close to Mr Scott ,he gave him a slap on the jaw and said "Go in home, Scott ,go in home "
    From that time till he died Mr Scott had a lump on his jaw.
