    Two other women used beg in this district - Mary Lyons from Baileboro, and Kitty Dune from Oldcastle. James Flood known as "King Flood" visits this locality occasionally, and he generally calls in the bog season. He lives at "Sleglac Mountain and he sometimes lodges with Patrick Byrd in Drumfomina. He accepts meal or alms, and when he gets them he goes away very thankfull.
    Mary Carr is another beggar woman and she comes to this townland a few times in the year. She would take eggs or tea, and she would also take tobacco as she smokes alot. She has a home in Lavey, and the people of the locality supply her with clothing. Dan Coyle often visits this district, and he sleeps in old sheds, and at ditches, even in the coldest nights of winter. He was born and reared in Aughaloora, and when he grew up he was a school teacher. One day he beat a pupil very severly and he was dismissed and he is ever since wandering.
    A beggar man known as "Innocent Phil" used visit this district occasionally, and his proper name was Philip Brady from Larah. He used lodge in Patrick Byrd's house, and he would sleep on straw in the
