Violets are used as a poultice or lotion.
Periwinkle is good as a tonic, and is also used for diabetis.
Carrots are used for bladder affections.
Elder leaves are excellent for epilepsy, there is a tradition that the Elder tree(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
