  1. There are two Fairy Forths in our district one in Cromogue and the other in Rossard. It is said that lights are to be seen in this forth every night after ten and twelve o'clock and the fairies do be dancing in it every night between ten and twelve o'clock. People do be afraid to cross that field in the night. It is said that the lights are to give light to the fairies to dance. Men went to dig sand in it and the bar fell out of their hands and they could hear the bar rattling down under among the stones for half an hour. It was said that the men were dead before that day twelve months.
