  1. There are three well known family's of tinkers in this district namely Connors, Lyons, and Moorhouse.
    They sell small things such as tie-pins, safety-pins, pictures, necklaces, laces, needles, and tea. They never stay over night. People usually buy something from them. They are glad to get meat, bread, butter, potatoes and cabbage.
