    Clarke hurried home as quickly as he could and told his wife to do as the fairy had told him. She did so and both retired for the night. When they came down the next morning the food had disappeared.
    Some time ago a hen was seen coming out of this fort and she remained there for about two days and then she disappeared and the old people said that the hen belonged the fairies. Whether we are to believe these stories or not depends on our belief in fairies but when several people heard the music in the fort it may be said that the fairies do inhabit these forts.
