  1. People say there are fairies in Craystown on the Bellinter road. The land is now occupied by Peter Loughran. Two men went one night to a field to look after lambs. There is an old vacant house locally known as Ann Fagan's the last occupant being Ann Fagan. She was not long dead at this time. The two men thought they saw a light in the house. They looked in the window and they saw Ann Fagan sitting at the fire place.
    She had a candle and was reading a paper. They were frightened and when they were at the gate they saw her following them. They went quicker and they crossed a style. When they reached the road they looked back and she was at the style they crossed.
    There is a light seen in Ennistown land called Jack of the Lantern. This seen especially on
