- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)There is a low hedge all round. They say that this was a watchout to see if the soldiers were coming.
- In Swainstown yard there was a shed made of stone and it had a round roof. To strike the roof it seemed solid. In the middle there was a window. Beside it there was a box lined with silk where the priest used to hide the sacred vessels during the Penal days. Some people say that the priests used to say Mass there. Mr Nat Preston of Swainstown knocked the shed down in this year 1938.
