Two men lived in Pepperstown and he went up and started to throw stones in their window. The men did not say anything for a while, but when it was going on too far one man came out in his bare feet with a fork and followed him round the yard about ten times and nearly stuck him twice. Daly hid himself in a heap of briars and the man was not able to find him and had to go home and Daly got safe.
