  1. Long ago when the old mill was working there was a man going to his work. When he came to Taylor's' he saw a fox after coming out of Taylor's with a goose. The wall at Taylor's was about twice as high as it is now, and the fox tried to jump it but he couldn't. He climbed up as far as he could and stuck the goose's head in a hole in the wall. When he got up to the top of it, he pulled the goose up after him.
