    Once upon a time there was a terrible drunkard.

    Once upon a time there was a terrible drunkard. One day some fellows told him that if he went into the graveyard at twelve o'clock in the middle of the night and brought out a skull, they would give him a gallon of stout. He said he would. So next night he went down to the graveyard, but some of the fellows went up a tree. When he went to take up a skull one of the fellows shouted, "Leave that skull there that's mine," He left it down, and picked up another couple of skulls, but each time he picked up a skull someone said the same words. He picked up a couple of skulls and ran off saying, "You cannot own them all.
