  1. We have a griddle at home. It is a big round bit of iron about four foot seven inches circumference. We make pancakes on it sometimes and griddle bread. It is like this
    It has a handle out of it about two inches long. It has been in our house about sixty years. It is one of the things they used to cook their bread on long ago.
    We place it on the top of the range, but my grandmother had to put it on top of the coals on the hearth.
