   Garvey was the Landlord of Ballyhogan and Kildangan. He was looked upon as a bad landlord. Many evictions took place in the district. People named MacGraths of Dromineer were evicted. The were allowed back to their home again. Sometimes the people promised to pay money if they were left in their homes
