  1. Prospect is the townland I live in. It is in the parish of Kilodiernan and in the barony of Lower Ormond.
    There are about nine families in Prospect, and about forty-five people.
    Nearly all the houses are slated, and none of them are very old. There are no very old people living in it now. There were many more people living there in former times. They were very fond of telling stories, and asking riddles. There were more houses long ago than now. Their ruins are still to be seen.
    Knocknacartan is near Prospect. It is also in the Parish of Kilodiernan, and in the barony of Lower Ormond.
