  2. The forts I know are in Rockview, Ashley Park and Woodpark. There is a fort in Mr Kennedy's field in the townland of Puckane.There is a fort also in Mr Hector's field in Lisduff. Is is called a "lis". There is supposed to be a ladder going from Knigh Castle underground to this "lis" or fort. There was a man named William Gleeson living in Killard one time. He was a very courageous man. He often heard the people saying the stairs were there but no one ever went to see where they were heading to. So he went off and he never
