A man came there and he saw a woman washing clothes in the well, the morning after the well was removed over near Maloe. The print of the woman's knees is near the well where she knelt down to wash the clothes. There is a song written about St Maloes well. I
I often drank water out of St Maloes well, In it's clear water there lurks a bright spell.
