    Scully heard them & said "Ah I think my men are getting too much of it" That instant he left the kitchen & went upstairs & shot Major Hare on the spot and his blood splashed up on the wall & it can be seen there presently
    A short time afterwards he fled to U.S.A. & was smothered in a snow-storm. People say that two men were hanged in Limerick for killing Major Hare, & it is said that they had nothing to do with it.
