  1. Leprechaun in Riddlestown
    It was said some time ago in Riddlestown district near Mullane's Passage, that a Leprechaun was seen in an old fort not far from my home. One night as a man was coming he had to pass this old fort, and he heard great talk and laughter. He stood with astonishment, and as he has often heard of this old fort, and that the Leprechaun lived there. He was very poor and he thought to get a crock of gold from him. He went home and the next night he made up his mind to go into the old fort. He did so armed with a revolver so as to give him a good fright. Lucky enough he met him mending a pair of shoes. He came behind him and caught him by the shoulder and shook him and threatened to kill him if he
