  1. In Ballyrobin Mr Michael Riedy dreamt that a crock of gold was buried under a flag in his field. He came to the place and found it just as he dreamt. When he began to scoop away the earth from over the flag, a bull bellowed so furiously, and frightened the poor fellow so much that he ran away, and left the gold undisturbed. The bull was minding the the treasure or at least something with a similar roar.
