  1. Fifty or sixty years ago a man named Michael O'Brien of Coolcappa went to Co. Clare to visit Biddy Early to ask her questions about some business that had gone wrong with him. As he was going in to her house a man went in a couple of seconds before him and when he went in the man was fast asleep. As Michael O'Brien stood on the doorstep she said how are you Michael O'Brien. How are ye all in Coolcappa. He got so frightened that he came home without asking her any questions and he never had anything to do with fortune telling after that.
