  1. Elm - Hill House
    About ten years ago a priest in Ardagh was passing Elm - Hill House and he said that Mr Studdert was burning in hell, and his son was inside the ditch, and he heard him saying it.
    About a week later Studdert' s son held a feast in the house, and he invited the priest to it. When the dinner was over, the owner of the house said to him.
    This day week, I heard you saying that my father is burning in hell. I did said the priest. Prove to me at once or you shall be killed.
    The priest wrote a note and sent it to the parish priest, by a messenger
