    jaundice: drink the liquid.
    Stye in the eye:
    1. To rub your fasting spit to it.
    2. To rub a gold ring to it
    3. Wash it with cold black tea.
    Convulsions:
    For a child in convulsions bathe in hot mustard water
    Bleeding:
    Lay patient flat and put a key or some other cold implement on the back of the neck and leave there until bleeding will stop.
    Holy Wells:
    There is a holy well in this district and people pay "rounds" at it on the 6th May to cure rheumatic
    2. "Rounds" are also paid to cure sore eyes.
