The norries (herons) were at Hungerford's wood and they make a terrible racket in the night time. Paddy Hall from Clohánn was going east one night on a saddle horse and he heard all the noise and he thought what the norries were saying was, -
"Paddy Hall form Clochán go home"
He turned his horse and cleared away home as fast as he could.
