This bush is on the top of a high hill about five hundred yards from Rooskey cross roads (known as Taugh o' the win') in the townland of Rooskey in the Parish of St Peters and Pauls Barony of Athlone South. It was hidden there by the Danes. He also dreamt that he would have to cease digging for the gold before cock-crow in the morning or if not he would be killed. After the third night's dream he journeyed from Belfast on foot. When he came to the place he knew it was the same as he saw in his dream. He started to dig at midnight when all was quiet. After a few hour's digging he came to a griddle. He lifted it off and saw the gold. Just at the same time the cock crew and he fell dead. No one has since tried to get the gold.
