  2. Fairy Forts

    In the townland of Antrane in Dan Connell's field about a half a mile south-west of Carrowduff road the is a fairy fort. It is a circular hill surrounded by a ditch. There are three openings into the hill two on top and one on the side. The inside is lined with flags and divided into thirty apartments.
