- A fort about half a mile from the public Athone - Taughmaconnell road on the north side of the townland of Onagh. A high round hill surrounded by three dykes. A path through them which led to the top of the hill. This path was long ago known as bóthar na mbodach.
Music was heard in it in the old days. It is believed that it was used as a family burial ground. Name unknown. There is a bush growing on the side of the hill. No one dares to stir the ground near this bush. There was an opening on top of the hill now almost filled in, was several feet in depth 60 years ago. A crock of gold is hidden under the bush.- Collector
