- There is a crock of gold supposed to be hidden on the western side of the ruins of the old Church of Clonoghill Parish of Taughmaconnell, Barony of Athlone South.
It is not told how much is in it or who buried it.
It will be recovered by three people and one of those must lose his life at the getting of it.
It is guarded by a three legged white horse.
