Saint Martin's day The people kill a goose on that day and scatter the blood around the house.
Hallow eve The children duck for apples on that night.
Saint Stephens day The boys go out to mum (?) on that day, they sing and dance and gather money.
Saint Brigid's day The people hang hankerchiefs on the doors on that night and Saint Brigid blesses it.
John's eve People light bonfires and have dancing
New Year's day It is said whatever a person has on that day he will have it the whole year.
