  1. Long ago tailors travelled from house to house making clothes. As long as he was making the suit of clothes he stayed in the houses of the people. He told old stories riddles, songs and played music for the young boys and girls and they were delighted at his coming to the village. The clothes he made were white flannels and "báiníní." because it was the dress of the people at that time. There was a very old tailor living in Cregduff and he was the sport of the village.
