    called the Blackman. He stands half way up the yard, and calls out "are you afraid of the Black Man". They answer "no we are not afraid for a man like you anyway".
    Then they run to the head of the yard and who ever is caught by the Black Man will help him to catch the rest. Whoever is last caught will be the Black Man the following time.
    Birds; We play birds as follows. All the children stand is a row along the wall except one who is named 'the caller', he goes away to where he can't hear what the rest are saying. Every one then gets the name of a bird.
