    Potatoes are planted in our farm every year.
    My brother Neil prepares the ground for the potatoes.
    First he ploughs the ground then he harrows it and after that the drills are opened and farm-yard manure and Sulphate of Amonia and Guano are put in the drills.
    After the drills are closed the potatoes are 'kibbed'.
    The drills are made with iron ploughs in this district
    In olden times the people worked the ground with wooden ploughs but they are not in use now.
    It s all iron ploughs that the men work with in this district nowadays.
    There are no spades made in this district. The spades are all bought
