   when it curls it is the sign of rain. A fog over a mountain is the sign of rain and a fog over a river is also a sign of rain. When the dust is going before the wind it is the sign of rain. The north wind doth blow and we shall have snow. Also when it is going to snow the sheep and goats come down from the mountain When we hear the sea roaring it is the sign of a storm. When you see a yellow frog it is the sign of good weather, and when you see a brown frog it is the sign of bad weather.

   When there is a ring around the moon, it is the sign of frost. When there are a great many stars in the sky, and they twinkling, it is the sign of good weather, and when there are only a few it is a sign of bad weather. Red clouds in the west at sunset
