  1. Colds
    The best thing for Colds is boiled butter-mik sweetened.
    Wild Fire
    There are two cures for wild fire ink, and gold. The ink should be put round the wild fire, and gold should be rubbed on it.
    Sprains.
    The limb that is sprained should be held under a water fall or spout, very early in the morning for three mornings.
    Toothe-ache.
    There are two cures for toothe-ache. Some people makes the sign of the cross with a frog before their mouth if they have toothe-ache. Other people puts baking soda into their toothe in which they have the toothe-ache.
    Measles.
    Long ago when people had no whiskey they would drink plenty of spring water, and stay in bed under cover for nine days.
    Tinn Cough.
    The cure for tinn Cough is to drink asses milk.
    Ring-worm.
