  1. There was two farmers one time & they were living in Rustyduff & one farmer had to go a short cut & an ould hill to go through & he got benighted so he fell & he broke his leg. The other farmer called him "For God's sake Dan come up here to me before I die" but went up the hill & he took on with the horses but poor Delaney was dead the next morning & they carried him home to his place to be buried but his ghost haunted Dan Byrne he had to leave for England & he was a desperate long time in England anyway & this Byrne had sons & they became gentlemen in England & they used to come over to Ireland for a months shooting.
