This man is a descendant of Michael Dwyer but says he heard little folk tales...

    Jas Case 60 Spynans.
This man is a descendant of [Mr] Dwyer but says he heard little folk tales in his youth. It was all about '98 his father & mother used to talk. The writer of Dwyers life got all they had from them.
He heard of Moll Antony & also read about her in an article by Terence O'Hanlon.
He heard of Nugent of the Curragh (mentioned in Mrs. O Tooles profit story) but he said he was not as good as Moll. Her son worked herbs after her death. Molls cure for a slipping calf was to light a fire round the calf & the woman who would have the profit would come & take a coal out of the fire.
He used "He gain him" for 'he gave him"
