Martin Byrne of Rathdangan was working with Mr. Morton of Kilconnact and Mr. Morton went out hunting his sheep night after night & he used to see a soldier walking around this lone sgeach bush so one night when they were sitting around the fire he told Martin about the soldier so the next night Martin went out & he seen the soldier walking around the sgeach bush & the next morning the sgeach bush was dug up and Martin was gone & the soldier was gone & never was seen after.
