Darby Higgins was a man of charms who lived in Glenderry The parish priest was always arguing with him trying to find out where Darby got the charms. One day the priest was going in a sick call on horse back, and on his journey he began talking and praising the horse but never said "God bless him" and in a hollow near where Glenderry creamery, is now the horse fell and would rise.
