  1. There was a fort in Cashman's farm in this parish and it was called Lios Árd. His cows used always graze there and one evening when they went for their cows, one of them did not want to come out of the (l) fort but they made her. When they were bringing the cows away, they heard a baby crying in the fort. When they had the cows milked they put the milk of the cow that wanted to stay in the fort in a peck and took it in to the fort
