My mother told me that long ago there was a man who used to travel from place to place The man's name was Jack Dillon. He stayed at my mothers house. If you called him the "Fiddler" he would chase you. One day my mother and the other girls called him the "Fiddler." He cased them over the fields and ditches.

My father told me that long ago there lived a man. His name was John Connor. He stayed at my father's house. The people from the place used to come and listen to his stories.
