- People say at marriages "Happy is the bride that the sun shines on". They also say "Marry in blue your sweetheart is true" "Marry in brown you live out of town "Marry in grey you will regret the day" Also they were supposed to wear something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.
Mondays Wednesdays and Fridays were counted to be unlucky days to marry the rest of the days in the week are lucky
