    About thirty years ago an old ballad singer came to Listowel named Andy Barry.

    About thirty years ago an old ballad singer came to Listowel named Andy Barry. He used always sing old Irish Airs, his favourite was "Bordenstown Churchyard." He was a native of County Limerick and everybody heard about him as he was famous for his stories. He walked from town to town and he often stayed in a farmer's house and told stories. He always came to Listowel when the Judge was in town and an other curious thing about his visit was it never stopped raining from the time he came till he left
