    wondering what was keeping him so they went to bed. After some time he came in and they all pretended that they were asleep. He went to bed at once. As he was tired he slept. The man in the bed in which the other end of the cord was hanging got up in the bed and let up the cord so that the pillow hit this man on the chest. He jumped up and shouted for help but none of them answered him. He lay down again and they gave him another thump. So he prayed again. From that on he went to mass and the sacraments.
    So ends my story.
