- When the sun is rising in the morning if it is red it denotes rain. When it sets pale it is the surest sign of broken weather. When we get new moon and if it is invisible we are sure of bad weather, and sometimes good weather. When we have a clear sky we are sure of good weather. When the stars are falling we are sure of bad weather. When the crows are going very high we are sure of very fine weather and when they are going low we are sure of rain. When the seagulls are flying in from the sea we are sure of rain.
