In the parish of Killinkere there are three graveyards one in Gallon and one in Cloniphillip the other is a Protestant graveyard, it is in the townland of Beagh or Glebe as it is called, there are several crosses and tombstones in every one of them, some are just made from wood and the majority are made from granite, Gallon is fairly round and faces the North East, it is mixed as both denominations bury in it, Cloniphillip is much the same shape, and some trees are growing in it, several families go from beside these and bury in graveyards four and five miles distance.
    There are old ruins in Gallon but
