Ar an leathanach seo

  1. Two old farmers who died over seventy years ago were very good as local poets, they were old Jack Love of Carnalynch, and old Jack Traynor of Togher.
    They used to herd cattle on their farms which adjoined each other, and they composed alternative verses concerning some matter of local interest.
    They spoke in the old Irish language, their songs were sung at wakes, wedding parties and at "Kaylys".
    Mr. Love is buried at Churchill Bailieboro, and Mr. Traynor at Moybologue.
