   There is a stone at one side of the ditch and the track of a little foot three inches in length there.
   It is said that it is a path that fairies go every night from the lone bush to guard the fort, other ornaments have been found around the house of Mr Mahood.

   There is a fort on my father's farm which has never been removed: my grandfather was told not to interfere with it, he was told a penalty was put upon him not to labour it except he would plant two hundred trees, - one hundred loan bushes, fifty ash bushes, fifty furze bushes and not to let the furze
