  1. Nowadays the bread is made from wheat and corn. It is sent to the mill when it is threshed and flour is made of it.
    The people used to make all sorts of bread long ago. Boxty, potato bread and pancakes.
    They used to make (all sorts) (as much) as much bread as would do them for each day.
    They used to make the bread with water and bake it on a griddle, on a pot oven and on a pan.
    Oaten meal bread was made with water and left on a plate until it was firm. Then it was put in front of the fire to bake and was propped with a brick.
