  1. The food people used was a cup of tea in the morning, and then about 10 o'clock milk and black bread and they used to have brown sugar.
    At dinner time they used to take milk and potatoes and salt.
    Some would have oaten stirabout and sugar for their supper and some would have Indian stirabout.
    They used to go to bed early and get up at daylight. Some would eat oaten stirabout in the morning.
