  1. Loch Red, Farnaglough, Oldcastle, Co. Meath is supposed to be enchanted. Animals were seen going out of it, and entering it.
    One day a man named Mat Lynch saw a horse coming out of it and going in again.
    Another day as he was bringing home his cows a cow came out of the lake and went in again. In the morning when he was going back the cow came out again and he ran up a tree. The cow began to fight with his cows, and they, being afraid ran away.
    Louch Red in some part is supposed to be bottomless. There is a Mass Rock near the lake.
